Chania International Airport (CHQ), officially named Ioannis Daskalogiannis, is located approximately 14 km from the city center and serves both domestic and international flights. It is the sixth-busiest airport in Greece.

  • From Athens (ATH): Multiple daily flights operated by Aegean Airlines and Ryanair connect Athens to Chania, with a flight duration of about 1 hour.

  • From Heraklion (HER): While flights are available, many travelers prefer to drive between Heraklion and Chania.

By Ferry

From Athens (Piraeus Port):
